Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for the development and execution of the sales plan for assigned territory. Responsible for effectively utilizing Masimo resources and positioning Masimo products to meet sales and customer satisfaction objectives to new and existing customers in Post-Acute markets including primarily Homecare, Long Term Care, and WIC.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and convert new customers to Masimo products and solutions in Post-Acute markets to achieve assigned sales quota, while also developing new assigned market opportunities for Masimo's Pulse Co-Oximetry solutions.
  • Generate a Sales pipeline and develop key targets for assigned territory to meet or exceed monthly sales quota.
  • Work with Region Director, Clinical Support staff, Sr VP of US Alternate Care Sales, and Masimo local area team members to ensure growth in the Post-Acute market by adding new customers for all markets through sales of all Masimo products and solutions. Achieves established MBO's quarterly and yearly.
  • Complete assignments and report on all administration tasks in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide as required product and solution training to homecare customers, Long Term Care customers, and WIC.
  • Train support while ensuring appropriate attention from contracted distribution representatives to convert their customers to Masimo products.
  • Collaborate with Masimo's extended sales teams (sales reps, managers, national accounts, etc.) to accelerate the adoption and opportunities that exist in Post Acute markets.
  • Sell Masimo Pulse Oximetry and Pulse CO-Oximetry devices and accessories to Homecare, Long Term Care, and WIC, in defined territories.
  • Build positive relationships with Masimo's clinical support group and hospital Account Executives to support Alternate Care business through a Continuum of Care market penetration strategy.
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives set forth in assigned Territory through sales of Masimo products and solutions in all Post Acute channels.
  • Interface with all product managers to stay up to date with all products and new releases.
  • Perform other duties and projects as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of successful and documented experience selling Medical Device solutions to Acute care or Post-Acute markets, with substantial experience selling to Homecare and LTAC.
  • Experience calling on National Home Care chains, local home care companies, Respiratory Therapists, or Nurses and administration.
  • Experience and proven ability to effectively lead productive conference call discussions and develop internal partnerships.
  • Experience in strategic sales planning and execution.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Very strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong PC skills including MS Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in fast-paced environment of teamwork and constant change.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a 'whatever it takes' philosophy.
  • Ability to develop new relationships and successfully manage existing customers to generate incremental sales.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with management, executives, internal staff, peers, outside Sales Reps and customers.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50 to 80% of the time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales experience with high technology healthcare solutions, involving complex sales processes requiring significant differentiation to many decision makers and influencers.
  • Successful sales management experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree, Clinical Credential, or 5 + years of equivalent experience required.

Physical requirements/Work Environment

This position primarily works in a field sales environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Must be able to travel in a multi-state territory, up to 50% to 80% of the time, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver's license is required. Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 60lbs.
