We're seeking a talented and competent presales professional to help us offer the hardware, software, and support services for our clients' most critical IT solutions. As a Sr. Presales Architect, you'll be responsible for working closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop customized solutions that meet their business objectives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex IT solutions, providing technical guidance and support throughout the presales process.

Where: Remote anywhere in the United States or Canada

Comp: $140-150k Base (80/20 plan, OTE 170-180)

Key Responsibilities

  • Buildand maintain relationships with Client technical leads, peer management, and Insight sales teams.
  • Presenttechnical architectures to Clients and Sales, emphasizing technical benefits, solution positioning, competitive differentiation, and pricing models.
  • Develop practicebusiness opportunities and technical innovations, working proactively with Sales and the Client.
  • Integratecomplex business and technical challenges, developing Insight proposals that address Client needs from an architecture, operations, and services perspective; determine strategy in response to an RFP (Request for Proposal) as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Delivery and Sales teams to translateClient technical and business requirements into technical solutions, statements of work (SOW), or Bill of Materials (BOM) .
  • Leador contribute effectively to internal matrix working groups focused on sales opportunity development and sharing perspectives openly and honestly in a consultative manner to arrive at a common workable solution.
  • Guideand coach junior team members and train colleagues internally on complex solution offers.
  • Resolves PreSales issues with Clients and Sales teams.
  • Provides briefings, status reports, presentations, and milestone deliverables to clients and prospects. Keeps internal CRM and Sales opportunities updated and reports weekly progress and pipeline growth.
  • Works with internal teammates to define repeatable service opportunities, and develop standards of delivery, templates, and standard work products to meet internal and external delivery expectations along with opportunities for Intellectual Property reuse.
  • Participate in broadly assigned technology practices while continuing a personal specialization in one or more relevant Insight focus OEMs or partner technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline or demonstrated performance in a technical work environment with the following:
  • Minimum of 6 (six) years technical architecture experience in a high-tech environment.
  • Minimum of 6 (six) years demonstrated quality success in technical presales with a Sales Partner
  • Minimum 3 (three) year experience working on Network firewall, VPN, or IPS platforms in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Minimum of 4 (four) years hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
  • Cloud - Azure
  • Firewall
  • Active Directory and Entra suite
  • Front Door
  • DDOS Protection
  • IoT Security
  • Application Gateway
  • Confidential ledger
  • Microsoft Security Experience
  • Microsoft Sentinel
  • Microsoft Defender
  • Microsoft Key Vault.
  • Desired Certifications ane experience
  • Microsoft (Azure Solution Architect Expert, Cybersecurity Architect Expert)
  • Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Microsoft XDR solution sales or delivery experience.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills for complex network and firewall tasks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
