CHOP's Main Hospital ED was the first Level 1 Trauma Center for children in the Delaware Valley and is home to the Poison Control Center. If your child's medical condition is serious and they need to be admitted, they can easily be transferred to an inpatient unit in our Main Hospital. (ER or Urgent Care?.)
A Brief Overview
Deliver compassionate, culturally effective care as a Registered Nurse in CHOP's Surgical Services Department. Ranging from advanced beginners to expert practitioners, our nurses coordinate all facets of patient care, collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals, and can progress to managing the most complex cases in their clinical area.
