The Import/Export Specialist works as part of the Logistics team and is responsible for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve streamlined customs compliance in a fast paced environment. This role is based on-site, Monday-Friday, in our Bristol, Pennsylvania location.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensure commercial invoices and paperwork are properly prepared and shipments are within compliance for country specific regulations.
  • Learn and use various applications and web-based systems to facilitate international shipments.
  • Audit carrier costs and performance.
  • Maintain close cooperation with internal stakeholders regarding necessary planning and communication.
  • Interpret laws, rules and regulations regarding shipping and prepares applications for import/export control certifications and licenses.
  • Maintain logs and compile information on routes, rates and services from various vendors.
  • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Trouble-shoot customs delay issues and resolve.
  • Other related duties and projects as assigned.

What we look for:

  • BS, BA or equivalent
  • Strong coordination and coordination skills and attention to detail.
  • Minimum of two years successfully handling international logistics issues.
  • Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency on a computer and with standard MS Office applications.
