InsPro Enterprise Administrator

As a member of the Aon Affinity Delivery Management Office (DMO) team the InsPro Enterprise Administrator and Business Analyst is responsible for developing a comprehensive perspective of Aon Affinity business unit solutions and processes, working with stakeholders to elicit, validate, prioritize, and document business and functional requirements.

This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work both virtually and a minimum of three days in office at our Fort Washington, PA location.

As the main point of contact between the DMO and the Life and Health business, the InsPro Enterprise Administrator and Business Analyst will help shepherd projects through to successful results by gathering requirements from a business area and presenting them in ways that are understandable and actionable by the organization.

The InsPro Enterprise Administrator's main responsibility will be to directly manage and perform all configuration needed to ensure new programs, plans, rates and supporting sets ups as well as updates are formally initiated in InsPro.

Must be able to act independently, provide information for certain business decisions, and collaborate with business partners and project teams to influence and advance initiatives. This role will provide intrinsic value to the organization, as the Business Analyst will enhance procedures and spearhead improvement processes to continue to manage initiatives and product related tasks. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and management skills to keep projects in scope.

What the day will look like - Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for partnering with business/user group representatives to understand business processes and underlying informational and/or process automation needs, then translating those needs into formal, documented business requirements, and fulfilling all configuration aspects of Inspro application.
  • Participates in the development and document of functional, technical requirements as well design reviews.
  • Responsible for creating standard and ad-hoc reports and dashboards depending on the InsPro datamart.
  • Design, build and support configurations within Inspro applications and be responsible for data management.
  • Facilitate continued enhancements carrier needs through Inspro, aligning with business processes and reporting requirements.
  • Engage & use Inspro support for maintenance & configuration support.
  • Participate in project planning activities to provide input on work effort and cost estimates.
  • Responsible for performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and managing go-live activities with IT and business units.
  • Develop and deliver innovative solutions while applying best practices and governance.
  • Provide support for production environment including incident management and resolution.
  • Prepares "as is" and "current state" documentation in written and graphical form (flows).
  • Maximize the utilization of existing business applications and technologies to meet business requirements and to improve the leverage of IT assets.
  • Communicate and collaborate proactively with external and internal customers to analyze information and functional needs and deliver functional requirements, business requirements, and use cases.
  • Bring strong analytical skills to bear on projects, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in one or more industries and bring best practices into requirement discussions.
  • Ensure alignment of the Affinity enterprise and business requirements with the overall Affinity business strategy

Skills and experience that will lead to success.

  • Must have 5+ years of InsPro Enterprise Life and Health insurance policy administration system
  • 3 or more years of experience managing multiple concurrent work streams of business analysis and leveraging best-suited methodologies and practices.
  • Experience with formal project management methodologies with experience in both Waterfall and Agile approaches
  • Experience developing business use cases from requirements and/or delivering business use case functionality and developing user stories in support of Agile focused projects.
  • Exposure to working in a management consulting environment serving a variety of clients supporting business strategy definition and validation, visioning, and metrics / success measure definition.
  • Strong experience developing business processes / workflows in Visio or PowerPoint or similar application or process modeling tool.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; Decisive decision-making; Negotiation skills; Relationship management; Prioritization skills; Project management lifecycle skills; Issue management resolution.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • CBAP/CCBA certification preferred.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $82,000 to $98,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
